Shadows change in us all  The light under which we fall  Twisted shade and shining spark  Lead the way from light to dark  In twilight we dream  Between the two supreme  Guided by the light  Through shadow’s blight  Part the way of the shade  And end the dark masquerade  Here and now we stand  Our fate in our own hand  Tomorrow never changing  The future always rearranging  From shade to shine  The two intertwine  Locked tight  Are dawn and night  From beginning to end  Light and shadow ascend Twilight

Whispers watching ever shadow  Silence stealing random heartbeats  Darkness rises  And wisdom falls  Into the unknown we descend   
Lightning bolt harbingers usher in clarity  Along with it’s strange bedfellow panic  Nerve wages war against nerve  Fear stalks reason  Into the unknown we descend   
Every darkened corner hides an abyss  Shades dance from silhouette to silhouette  Dread lines every frame  And we wait behind our ignorance  Into the unknown we descend   
Whose eyes do we see in the shadows?  What Into the unknown we descend

The Vacant ManVacant Man   
All alone the Vacant Man sat,  never really knowing where he was at.  He watched as the world passed by,  and all he could do was wave good-bye.   
The outlook appeared to be rather grim,  and the light grew a murky shade of dim.  “Would anyone miss me?” he thought,  “would it have all been for not?”   
The days followed and passed,  time grew long and amassed.  All forcing his curiosity to ignite,  with "will I ever stand in the light?"   
In the company of that question he waits,  as the answer is held by the fates.  And yet the Vaca The Vacant Man

I was surfing around and stumbled across it. I think art makes you want to keep looking at it and your painting had that quality. I was impressed by it. Keep up the good work.
